Why is AFL regarded as a "fairies" game, which mums want their kids to play, just like soccer ?

So they don't get hurt playing Rugby or especially Rugby League ! They have feminised AFL far to much, unlike to "up there gazally" days, even I can admit the high marks were pretty spectacular, but these days it's a joke, never as tough as League and whats with this hands in the back crap, please it's all o feminine for me !
