Doesn't this make it difficult for the UK to claim it has any moral high ground upon which it can stand?

Mark Thatcher hasn't been found guilty of any crimes. His alleged activities involving Equatorial Guinea while he was in South Africa are not illegal in the UK. Until your friends come to power, we have no law in the UK that says you can fine someone just for being rich.
