What is the difference between Catholicism and Calvinism?

Ok I studied this one. Calvin came up with the idea of pre-destination: God had already chosen who is going into heaven and who is going to hell, no actions or repentance can do anything about that...Well people didn't like that, so they decided that material wealth was the sign that you were the chosen of God. So Calvinism actually created the Protestant Work Ethic, which...well I think has been fading, but with the Northern European Climate, people were able to work all day and then go home at night, while in non-Protestant areas, people tended to sleep in the middle of the day to escape the heat, and so were seen as lazy. So Calvinism preaches hard work to prove your in Gods favor while Catholicism preaches repentance.
