What should I do? How do i control my having to move and leaving behind the love of my life?

Ok, so i been with my boyfriend for over a year I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!! He means the world to me. I live in Colombia right now I moved to study. I'm from White Plains, NY. I now however, have to move back home cause things are getting hard for me to live in Colombia. I will have no place to live after the month of june and things over here are just to slow for me over here. My b/f is also from NY and i got 2 know him here and im so happy i did get to know him because he makes me so happy and fills me with joy. I dont wanna leave but i have to choice but to leave. He tells me its best for me to leave and he wants me to leave but he is heart broken about me leaving and so am I and i just dont know how to control the situation because i hate to have to leave and i hate to have to see him so heart broken i have never seen him so upset/sad EVER!!!! so please help....how do i control the situation? what do I do? any tips on long distance relationships? i know lots of ppl dont believe in them but honestly i dont believe i can live knowing that i lost my b/f i love him and im willing to try it. PLZ HELP!!!!!!!
