Is it lame that I'm 13 and love to write and read stories?

:So, I'm a 13 year old girl and I absolutely love to write stories and also read books. Does that seem just a little bit stupid? I'm athletic and I like running track and skateboarding, too,but kids make fun of me when they see me with a notebook and a pencil at recess. I'm not a loner :) and I have plenty of friends I guess, but only one of them shares this strange obsession :) so I'm not quite sure about this one hobby....
