What else should I put, in my already started, 10 Gallon community tank?

I already have fish in my tank I have a Veil-tail Betta, Nerio, and four Sunburst Platies, The Alpha Squad. I wanted to put more into my tank. I was thinking of putting in Panda Corys and some Neon Tetra, as I was going to before I got the Alpha Squad. I wanted to get maybe three Panda Corys and three, maybe four, Neon tetras depending on how big they are. Now should I get the Panda Corys and Neon Tetras as I was going to originally get or just get the Corys and more Platies or something along that lines?
