There's a piece of gum INSIDE my northface fleece jacket?

i bought it a month ago and it's inside the jacket somehow.. near the top left pocket, next to the zipper. i have no freaking idea how it got inside but i can't get it out. there are no openings. i washed it two times, tried squeezing it out, but that didn't turn out very well. so i was wondering if they're any answers? thanks
