Teeth whitening, how can i make my teeth whiter?

Do NOT use Rembrandt!! It is terrible. I recently quit smoking, and it promised to remove stains in two hours.. they weren't whiter at all. CVS brand (or Crest) whitening gel works better, and is cheaper.
