Is it possible to have a society essentially unified(purpose and morals) without supposed divine revelation?

What defines a society? The number of people? How long this group remains organized? There are many societies that exist without religion as their guiding mentality. Businesses. Online Groups. Societies within societies. I think morals are based on ensuring the longevity of the society. So it can be construed in many different ways.
